Spearmint, a member of the mint family, is a good all-around tonic with many properties. Helps with the digestion, nerves and nerve-related problems.

It is particularly helpful when one has a sensitive stomach and for those who are experiencing fever.

It is fun to experiment with adding spearmint to other ingredients in a tea. To calm hyperactive kids, make a herbal tea with a selection of  Spearmint, Chamomile, Peppermint, Orange peel, Cinnamon and Hibiscus sweetened with Stevia or Licorice.
