Royal Jelly is the highly nutritional glandular nectar created by the worker bees. It is one of nature's most concentrated foods. Royal Jelly is rich in amino acids (providing 22), trace minerals (calcium, copper, iron, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, and sulfur), flavonoids, enzymes, Pantothenic acid, B-1, B-2, B-6, B-12 vitamins and proteins. One of the richest source of Pantothenic Acid, a B-complex that is needed for energy, growth, fights stress, fatigue, and the adrenal gland depends on it. Includes a wide assortment of important elements such as: acetylcholine, a key neurotransmitter that delivers messages from cell to cell; nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), the building blocks of cells; antibiotic properties; and gelatin, a precursor to collagen, a "cement" which forms connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and bone -- keeps skin smooth, elastic, and hair healthy. Of the many healthful advantages, the most important may be the ability to increase our nutrient absorption, allowing our bodies to get the most out of the food we eat. In addition, it includes compounds not found anywhere else: two unique antibacterial substances, Royalisin (a protein) and 10-HDA (a fatty acid). Research also has validated its ability to lower cholesterol and improve the LDL-HDL ratio. Also aids in digestion and supports the immune system.
