fruit/petals

An rich source of Vitamin C, which is an excellent antioxidant.

Rosehips is an iron booster. Iron-deficiency anemia is the most common nutritional disease in the world and women are particularly vulnerable to iron-deficiency anemia.

A regular dose of Rose infusion/tea treats eating disorders from anorexia nervosa (extreme aversion to food) to bulimia (morbid appetite). It's best to use the red petal variety. Boil two quarts (~2 liters) spring water to a boil, remove from heat and add about four tablespoons of red petals along with two tablespoons of Chamomile. Cover and let steep only 25 minutes, remove lid and let it sit for 15 minutes more. Strain, sweeten and drink lukewarm 1½ cups six times daily. Reserve the rest in a cool, damp place--it keeps for about 17 hours before a new batch should be made.
