wood boxes are made from a variety of balsa wood native to Sri
Lanka. These trees are a fast growing renewable resource, which
climb skywards at the rate of 50 feet in ten years. Known as the
abesia tree, they are grown to provide essential shade for the tea
bushes & must be removed before they're root structures interfere
with the bushes. Fortunes Int'l Teas provides a useful after
market for these trees & we employ native craftsmen to hand make
each wood box. |

Directions/Instructions |

FOR ONE
CUP OF HOT TEA: Place a tea bag in a cup & pour water
that has just come to a boil over it. Steep for 30 seconds
to 2 minutes depending on your taste. |
| FOR SIX CUPS OF HOT
TEA: Place 3 tea bags in a warmed teapot & add 1 quart
of water that has just come to a boil. Steep for 3
minutes, remove teabags & serve. |
| FOR ICED TEA: Place 5 tea bags in a
warmed teapot & add 1 quart of water that has just
come to a boil. Steep for 5 minuttes, remove tea bags
& pour into ice filled glasses. Also make
delicious sun tea. |
