International Shipping and Restrictions

Although we strive to provide natural products to as many countries as
possible, we can not be responsible for changes in customs/import laws, levies,
taxes and other restrictions of your country.
When placing your order online, make sure to select N/A as the "State".
Choose carrier and method appropriately, such as USPS International, UPS
Worldwide Expedited, Fedex International, etc.
If you select "USPS International", you may be
presented with "Flat Rate Envelopes".
Please do not select, as this is only for documents or flat,
unbreakable items.
Please select "Priority Mail International" (formerly
known as "Airmail"), Express Mail International® (EMS) or similar. The Flat
Rate Box is about the size of a shoebox (28 cm x 15 cm x 22 cm).
We reserve the
right to adjust the shipping method to ship it appropriately.
Also if you wish to add insurance please write "Add Insurance" in the
Special Instructions field.
If you need any help or have any questions about
Insurance Rates please email
sales@herbalhut.com.
- Only Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover is acceptable as
payment method.

It is the responsibility of our customers to make sure that they are allowed
to import nutritional supplements and herbs from the U.S.A.
If the Customs in your country returns your order to us, either because you did
not have the permission to import such supplements or because such supplements
are banned in your country, we will refund to your credit card your total
minus twice your shipping charge (as we must pay
our carrier the same shipping charge to return your order back to us),
5 percent of the value of
your order as the re-stocking fee, and any other charges incurred, such
as quarantine fees or warehousing fees assessed by the customs in your country.
Once again, please check with your country's customs, public health officials to make sure you
are allowed to import nutritional supplements from the U.S.
Problem-Free Countries
Currently, we have not encountered any customs-related problems in regards to
shipments going to:
Canada (click
here for a list of the restrictions), Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan,
Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, and U.K.
Difficult Countries:
We have had frequent problems in regards to orders shipped to:
- Australia and New Zealand: delays and unnecessary extra charges by
Customs. Also, for DHEA you must have an import permit.
- Israel: Our customers have been having problems receiving their
order using DHL or Airborne, and as a result, we use Express Mail Post Office Mail
for orders shipped to Israel.
- Taiwan: Import permission is required for supplements, or else the Customs
will return your order to us. Even though it is returned, they will still
bill you for import duty.
- Most of Europe (except for Ireland, U.K., Switzerland, and
"almost" Netherlands): Almost all nutritional supplements are considered
drugs, and will be returned by Customs.
- Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Netherlands:
Please do not order Melatonin, DHEA (also
Australia, Brazil, Canada),
Pregnenolone, 5-HTP, or any type of HGH, as your order will not be shipped
out. If you are a Doctor or Pharmacist, and you have special permission to
import nutritional supplements, please
email
your documents to us prior or after placing your order, as this will expedite
the delivery of your order. Lately, we have not had any problems with orders
going to Netherlands.
- Shipping suggestions for customers ordering from Austria, France,
Germany: If you have a relative or friend in Ireland, UK,
Switzerland, or Netherlands you may fill out the shipping section with their name and
address, and fill out the billing section with your name and address. We will
ship your order to them. Later on, you can make arrangement with them to
receive your order.
Shipping Restrictions
for Canadian Customers
T he following items are not allowed
to be imported unless through your Doctor:
-
Carnitine, Acetly-L-Carnitine, Tryptophan, DHEA, Pregnenolone,
Androstenedione, Human Growth Hormone and Any Products Containing Vitamin K.
Your Doctor needs to call "Special Access Program", at
1-613-941-2108, and get a permission to import them. The doctor needs to place
the order.
Almost all other supplements, including Melatonin and 5-HTP (but
may be banned shortly), are allowed to be imported.
Also your order must be for 90 days of usage, and not longer.
The way they determine this is by reading what the label says. So if it says 1
tablet/capsules a day, then you are entitles to import only 90 units of this
supplement.
