False Unicorn, aka
helonias, is one of the best supportive tonics for
women's reproductive systems. The active constituents of False Unicorn root
are actually precursors of estrogen. This old Native American remedy is also
used to treat a variety of women's reproductive and gynecological
problems by regulating menstrual cycles. Usually a three-month course
of treatment is necessary.
It may be used by pregnant women to prevent a threatened
miscarriage and to ease morning sickness. Remember if you are pregnant to
always consult your obstetrician or midwife before taking any remedy.
It's also used to treat infertility in women and impotence
in men.
False Unicorn may be combined with other beneficial herbs,
such as Cramp Bark.
