The anti-inflammatory properties of Devil's Claw
often make it an effective anti-inflammatory treatment in cases of arthritis, rheumatism
and gout.
Studies in Germany have compared the action of Devil's Claw to cortisone and
phenylbutazone; this is probably because it contains a glycoside called harpagoside, which
reduces inflammation in the joints.
It is also beneficial as a blood purifier; can expedite the elimination of uric acid
from your body; and may be used in the treatment of liver and gallbladder problems.
